AURA

Aura is an exploration of the concept of volumetric colour. Suspended between materiality and immateriality, the work suggests a shifting horizon, an ephemeral threshold of colour. Here, three-dimensional colour bleeds into the surrounding space, free from edges, existing in a state of flux between object and atmosphere. Aura expands on the ideas of David Spriggs Stratachrome, where colour is not merely seen but experienced as a layered phenomenon, unfolding and shifting with perception.
