Three paired fields of colour translate the red, green, and blue logic of the screen into physical space.
RGB separates the primary channels of digital colour into three sculptural encounters: blue and red, green and blue, and red and green. Each pairing is both image and volume. Saturated fields occupy the transparent planes, while their edges merge into colours that appear to emerge between them.
The triptych makes colour contingent upon relation. No field is perceived alone; each is altered by its neighbour, by illumination, and by the viewer’s position. What appears as a stable block from the front opens into a sequence of translucent intervals from the side.
Pixel and body
On a digital screen, red, green, and blue channels combine into a flat luminous image. RGB enlarges that structure to bodily scale and pulls its components apart. The viewer moves among three separate works rather than receiving their information as a single composite surface.
Colour becomes an event in space: neither an applied skin nor an immaterial signal, but a perceptual structure formed between material, light, and vision.
RGB is permanently installed in the Hilton Lobby at Resorts World Las Vegas.
