The force of a storm, held in suspension.
The work holds catastrophe and containment together. A phenomenon associated with vast atmospheric systems is reduced to intimate scale. Something that would ordinarily demand distance can now be approached and examined at close range.
The transparent case presents the storm as a specimen, suggesting that it has been captured and preserved for study. Its ordered boundaries stand in tension with the instability and upheaval associated with the subject. The viewer occupies a position of apparent security before a force that, at its full scale, could overwhelm the body.
